“There are always flowers for those who want to see them“
-Henri Matisse
Last July I was invited by Mia Fattrosso, Senior Designer and Creative Strategist from Party Rental Ltd., to collaborate in a summer-wedding styled shoot at Winvian Farm, a 113-acre luxury resort nestled among the Litchfield Hills in Morris, Connecticut, along with Winvian’s other preferred wedding professionals.
This shoot aspired to capture the look and feel of a whimsical wedding on a midsummers day. Inspired by a vibrant summer palette, the mood board showcases bright citrus, magenta & wood tones, while embracing the natural elegance of Winvian Farm.
Winvian Farm offers a secluded and luxurious experience for those looking for the ultimate destination wedding, with its 18 unique cottages, each embodying its own theme, which were designed by 15 talented architects.
This beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony setup surrounded by meadows made this the perfect spot for a countryside wedding.

A refreshing signature cocktail to match the pink & yellow wedding colors & theme.
Following the cocktail party setup, our hardworking team set up for a summer themed inspired reception inside The Gordon Brown House.

The wedding table centerpieces consisted of a lush mixture of peonies, dahlias, zinnias, ranunculus, freesia, sweet peas, berries and vines in shades of yellows, corals and magentas. This rustic but elegant styled barn at Winvian Farm hosts the vast majority of the estate’s intimate wedding receptions, offering a neutral canvas to any special event.

Pictured bottom left: Ana Parzych & Winvian Events Manager & Wedding Coordinator Elizabeth Goslee, a hospitality expert who will make sure every aspect of your wedding day goes smoothly, scouting through Winvian Farm grounds for the perfect spot to shoot the wedding cake.
The aesthetic of the whimsical themed wedding design from the mood board served as the inspiration for this colorful bespoke summer wedding cake. The wedding cake tiers were covered in pure white vanilla Swiss fondant, with the main adornment being a lush cascade of magnificent sugar flowers. The bright citrus hues carry through in the abundance of our pink, yellow, and orange hand-crafted sugar peonies, garden roses, poppies, freesias, sweet peas, ranunculus, foliage, and vines.
A special thanks to all involved in this fun shoot!
It’s always a pleasure to work with outstanding wedding professionals:
